Lia and Aasim were such troopers, braving the brisk April weather down at the Jersey Shore. Coordinated by fellow photographer Laura Metzger, this whimsical styled elopement was a truly fun and creative experience.
I always love having the time to creatively capture couples—yes, that’s a mouthful of alliteration, but it’s true! Sometimes we photographers get stuck in a creative rut, turning to the usual prompts and poses; styled shoots are a great way to refresh and reimagine how we can best serve the couples we work with.
Lia and Aasim were soft-spoken, sweet, and completely on board with Laura’s vision. From strolling the charming streets of Avalon, NJ, to braving the wind on the beach, these two quietly embodied the beauty and intimacy that define so many elopements. My absolute favorite part of the day was shooting at the arcade and in front of the ferris wheel—talk about fun and creative!
