Making a splash...this fall!
That’s right, friends...I’m going to be an AUNT (again—haha)! I can’t even express how excited I am to watch my little sister step into this new season of life as she becomes a mama. My sweet nephew will be arriving in just a few weeks, and I seriously cannot wait!
When Caragen and Jake asked me to do a maternity session for them, I immediately screamed YES! We took full advantage of the summer weather and headed to the Yellow Breeches Creek near the historic covered bridge on Messiah University's campus in Mechanicsburg, PA. With creekside access, a charming swinging bridge, and winding trails through the trees, we were able to capture three distinct looks in one beautiful location.
There’s something so monumental about expecting your first baby—it absolutely deserves to be documented and celebrated (okay, maybe I’m a little biased!). Booking a maternity session, especially with your partner, gives you the space to do just that. And the best part? It gets to feel totally like you. No stiff poses or forced smiles—just authentic, intimate moments. Laugh, dance, bring meaningful props, switch up the outfits—let’s celebrate this new adventure your way.
Caragen and Jake brought along special touches, like the baby shoes Jake wore as a child and ultrasound photos of their little one. The session ended with splashes in the creek, big smiles, and belly laughs—so much joy and love already surrounding this baby boy. If this is the energy they’re bringing to a maternity session, I can only imagine how much more beauty and laughter lies ahead for their growing family.
I can’t wait to meet you, my sweet little nephew! It was such an honor to celebrate my sister and her man in such a special way. 💙
