This summer I was able to travel to Nicosia, Cyprus with a wonderful team from my University. There we were able to meet two other teams from different schools. We adventured together, bonded, prayed, worshipped, and ate. Being able to visit this war-torn country was a really eye-opening experience. Cyprus has a north and south split, one being more Turkish (North) and one being more Greek (south). We spoke to people living on both sides of the strict border, and hearing their stories made me pray for peace for this country all the more. Beautiful, tropical, and hospitable, Cyprus is a country I am excited to visit again in September.
